Emilia Lundberg is an independent arbitrator based in Stockholm, Sweden.
She serves as sole, presiding and party-nominated arbitrator in domestic and
international commercial disputes.
Before becoming a full time arbitrator, Emilia acted as counsel in numerous
arbitrations and litigations. She has also been a District Court Judge for
several years.
Emilia has considerable experience as an arbitrator across different business
sectors under a number of applicable laws and arbitration rules in many
different jurisdictions. She has been appointed arbitrator more than 80 times
and has been ranked by Chambers and Partners as one of Sweden’s
Most in Demand Arbitrators (band 1).
According to Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2022, Emilia is lauded for her
expert handling of disputes across a broad range of sectors, described by
market commentators as a “very skilled and appreciated arbitrator”.
In 2023, Who’s Who ranked her as National Leader for “Arbitration 2023”.
Finally, Emilia is the author of many arbitration-related articles and regularly teaches courses
in commercial arbitration and litigation.
